Explore Music Settings for Communion Services

Lavenham Church

Lavenham Parish Church
Fed up with always singing the same settings for Communion Services? Would you prefer to sing something new occasionally? If so then come along to learn and sing four settings by local composers. We will explore settings by:

Andrew Leach

Stephen Hogger

Michael Booker

Revd. Ian Morgan.

Each composer will introduce and lead the singing of their settings. A selection will be made of items from each setting to be sung at a Communion service in the church which will start at 6.30pm.

We meet at 2.30pm in the church for a 3pm start.

Advent Carol Service

Aldeburgh Parish Church

Aldeburgh Parish Church
The choir of Aldeburgh Parish Church invite you to join them in singing an Advent Carol Service. The service will be a mix of Advent Carols, Hymns and Readings. Full details of music to be sung will be posted here as soon as it is available.

Meet at 2pm for 2.30pm rehearsal. After a break for a cup of tea the service will be sung at 6pm.
